MY STORY: 

I became an Arbonne Independent Consultant in January 2004 after my sister shared the Arbonne products with me while we were on a trip together. The first time I used the products, I immediately fell in love with the NutriMinC RE9 Anti-Aging Skin Care System and the About Face Cosmetics. I learned that my sister's best friend, Louise, who had grown up next door to us while we were children, had contacted her a few months earlier to share the Gift of Arbonne with her. I contacted Louise when I returned home and she shared the "3 Ways to Win With Arbonne" with me.  After making sure that I didn't have to "sell products" or "have parties" in order to get the discount, I signed up and immediately received the discount on my first order. I wanted nothing to do with "selling" anything or having "parties"...I only wanted to purchase my products at the discount. A few months later, I learned that there was a very high probability that my Federal job would be competitively outsourced to the private industry (contractors) within the next 3 to 5 years.  Being almost 55 at that time, with no specialized training or College education and only a high school diploma, I knew that I would probably not be able to find another job earning even half of my current salary. That really disturbed me and I wondered what in the world we would do if I did lose my job.  I was the major income provider for our household as my husband had already been caught in a downsizing in 2000 having over 28 years with his employer and only 3 years left before being able to retire with full benefits. He was eligible, so he took early retirement. I realized that these awesome products would sell themselves, so why not build up a business now to prepare for that day when I might lose my job to a contractor.  I saw how my sponsor and upline VPs were building a residual income with their Arbonne businesses and that inspired me to begin building my Arbonne business. 

Our President, Rita Davenport, says, "Success is living life the way you choose".
